All Terrain Freestyle Fun!
Colby and crew’s Jib NAS flat entry reCURVE Magne-Traction twin shape with a press- friendly freestyle jib focus that still rips the pow. A little wider and a little shorter, for fun.

All Terrain reCurve
Lib Tech reCURVE: YOUR TIPS ARE ALWAYS UP WITH reCURVE TECHNOLOGY!
Ridden and designed by Mike Wilson and the Lib Tech experiMENTAL division, reCURVE Magne-Traction lifts your tips and tails from ends of camber to traditional contact points, creating a “dynamic early rise” when boot pressure is applied to center of short camber. Easy float in broken snow and pow, mild pre-initiation for hardpack and ice carving, catch-free for jib presses, etc. And ideal for most of the market: beginners, average recreational men and women, park/freestyle jib kids, freeriders, powder pigs, doctors, lawyers, heli guides & rippers.
Magne-Traction .75
STEAK KNIFE TECHNOLOGY TURNS ICE INTO POWDER!
SERRATED STEAKNIFE EDGE GRIP: Magne-Traction adds edge hold and focuses the control and power under your feet where your balance is centered. Each bump or serration is strategically sized and positioned. The most aggressive bumps are in the center near and under your boot for maximum edge hold and control. The bumps are progressively less aggressive out towards the tips and tails creating catch-free user friendly tips and tails. Magne-Traction’s incredible edge control, when combined with reCURVE’s easy turn initiation and float, make for an insanely smooth ride in all terrain and conditions from ice to pow.
MAGNE-TRACTION FREESTYLE ADVANTAGE: The extra edge hold you get allows you to ride your narrow ass boards de-tuned for the park and rails and still get great edge hold all over the mountain. Take a file and round your edges so they don’t hang up on the rails, boxes or ledges. Then go ride everywhere!
Sintered UHMW Base Material:
Super tough base material that holds wax well due to its compression formed amorphous polymer structure. Super fast when waxed with Oneballjay.
Correct Sandwich:
SUPER LIGHT SPIN WEIGHT! The perfect blend of pickles and mustard. UHMW sidewalls, Power Transfer Internal Sidewalls, torsionally loose. The new kids think they are new!
Bio-Plastic Beans:
ExperiMENTAL division leader Mike Olson loves beans! When he’s not eating them he’s buying plastics made with them. Lib Tech has made a commitment to using a new earth friendly, bio-plastic top skin made from beans that features the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any top sheet in the industry.
Steel (Metal) Edges OTB:
On The Bottom. Coming in hot!
Quasi-Isotropic Fiberglass Power Layers:
Strength, power, and pop!
Pro Set-Up Stance Reference:
What Tim Dutton, Mike Wilson, and Jamie Pierre ride.
NASKAR:
Narrow-Ass Snowboard Kontrolled Active Response. Cores from hand-selected dead trees.
Anvi-Tech Damping Layer:
Dampening!
Ultra High Molecular Weight P.E. Speed Walls:
Tough! Great wax retention.

MERVIN MANUFACTURING: WORLD’S MOST environMENTAL SNOWBOARD FACTORY!
Mervin has been building snowboards every day for over 25 years. From the beginning, we’ve been a very environmentally aware snowboard factory. Founders, Mike Olson and Pete Saari both spent many years hand-building snowboards themselves and wanted their shop to be as healthy and easy on them, their crew and the environment as possible. We currently have an environMental division headed up by Norm Nelson and Mike Olson. It’s their passion to stay on the front lines with our green efforts. We use the safest epoxy resin systems available, with minimal VOC’s. We use no solvents in the factory, but instead use citrus based cleaners… our shop does not stink! For years , we have used fast-growing farmed wood for our wood cores.Mike and Norm run a Lib Tech biodiesel co-op, with a filling station next to the factory. Our factory is also heated with biodiesel. All the electricity used by the factory is “green” power specially contracted from the local PUD. We recycle all the scrap manufacturing materials possible… including scrap wood, sawdust, and plastic base materials.Mervin sublimates rather than silkscreens its graphics. Our sublimation process eliminates the need for the super toxic automotive lacquer gloss coats you see on many shiny snowboard topsheets. (If the snowboard you own looks unbelievably glossy and shiny you are looking a “toxic gloss curtain coat” and you better believe it stunk and killed brain cells to make it shine). Our sublimation system also allows us to recycle excess base material (you cannot recycle scrap base material that has silkscreen inks on it). This year Mervin introduced a new environmental plastic top material called BEANS that is stronger and lighter than conventional top materials. The oil used to make these topsheets comes from the castor bean plant. BEANS enviro-plastic bio-polymer is used on many models of the 08 Gnu and Lib Tech lines. Here at Mervin, we build our own snowboards near Canada in the USA with a snowboarder, surfer, skateboarder labor force. Our crew needs a healthy work environment to maximize their shred potential.
