Individual adjustment of the AFD to the area of application ensures perfect functionality across the entire collection of Marker binding models.

Triple Pivot Elite Toe - The toe construction with DIN settings up to 18, allows for incredible retention when freeriding. The spring in the toe is inserted horizontally and with a sole plate inclined by 5° it provides the highest energy absorption, reducing the risk of early release. The large support surface optimizes power transmission and allows the binding to absorb tremendous pressure.
Never before has a toe this light provided so much performance.

Inner Pivot Heel- The Inter Pivot heel construction provides fantastic retention when freeriding thanks to DIN values up to 18. The pressure is conveyed directly to the sole of the boot and, increasing optimal power transmission and energy absorption, while reducing the instance of early release.

Hollow Linkage Heel - Redesigned from the ground up to guarantee optimal retention for all types of alpine and touring soles. The aluminium hollow axle saves on weight and maximizes the torsional stiffness. This very robust heel construction is best suited for the most strenuous of requirements.

Backcountry Comfort - The patented, ergonomically shaped lever under the boot allows comfortable opening and closing. The position prevents the binding from unwanted release and provides unparalleled security.
Backcountry Technology - The patented, ergonomically shaped lever allows for comfortable opening and closing. The under-the-boot position prevents the binding from unwanted release. The hiking aids integrated into the Duke, Baron and Tour models can be easily adjusted from 0°, 7° and 13° via the pole.

Climbing Aid - The steel or titanium climbing aid can be adjusted with a ski pole and can be clicked into two positions: 7° and 13°. Integrated elastomer-muffler elements aid a comfortable climb eliminate that irritating "clack-clack" sound.

Touring Balance - Switching the lever to touring mode moves the whole binding 40 mm backward, allowing a more comfortable walking position and keeping the ski optimally balanced for kick turns and steep terrain.

Touring Brake - The brakes can easily be removed - even by the end user. Just remove the two fixation screws, slide off the brake, remove the brake arm, and re-install the heel spacer. The wide platform for the boot provides power transmission. Standard safety straps available on the market are adaptable to the F10 and F12 Tour models.

Power Width Design - Designed with a low, level stand height for maximum power transmission. It's the shortest frame of all hiking models in the market, yet featuring a 10 mm wider interface than traditional bindings. Connecting brackets are strategically placed in the power transfer areas for immediate edge control. Recommended for skis over 74 mm.
Power-Width-Design for maximum power transmission.
Marker engineers invented power-width to give our new freeskiing bindings the ultimate power transmission for today's wide skis. NO OTHER BINDING creates as much power and control. Prior to the Duke and Jester, the only technology to accommodate wide skis was making wide brakes. The attachment for Royal Family bindings features a wide bracket that was built on a 76mm minimum ski width. Previous designs had been based on a 63mm ski width.
